I totally just submitted my entry at 11:55 PM PST! I watched time.gov as I hit the send button, so hopefully hotmail will deliver my e-mail within 4 minutes ^_^

I would just like to add how great of a thing this was. I'm assuming that there were quite a few people that tried to do this, and I'm also assuming that they did pretty much what I did. I got my guild all together, and we all talked about the contest, and helped out. We went exploring all over, each took the areas that we narrowed the screenshots down to, and then finally we got all of them! We had a blast going around exploring, and figuring stuff out like this as a guild.

Thanks for hosting this contest, and I hope to see more stuff like this in the future, perhaps different challanges, and different rewards. It definately lightens up the community a bit. (which is well needed, by the way)

May the best explorer win!

EDIT: wow, I just realised while going over my draft that I never included my screenname or in-game name in my entry. If anyone of authority reads this, the entry submitted from [email protected] belongs to me.

I included mine thankfully. And boy, it must be nice to have a guild help you. I had to do it by myself. However, I did get all the locations and I believe I answered correctly some of the bonus questions. I can't wait.

Hi everyone,
A little bird told me that judging is underway. Due to the high quality of the entries it might take a little longer than expected to determine the winners so just sit tight and thanks for participating

Remember that if it comes down to it, the contestants can have a fight to the death.

Yes, at this point the contest is closed, judging is underway, and we're going to need a few days thanks to the number of high-quality entries that have managed to get beyond simply getting the answers right. At this point we've narrowed things down to single-digits and everyone we're consdering right now will be, at the least, awarded a consolation prize of some sort. We're hoping to have the winners announced and a nice little answer key featuring a lot of their efforts posted some time on Monday but as we're now dealing with rather subjective matters of who's entry is better than whose it might take us a bit.

Don't worry if you haven't included an in-game name just yet as long as you've given us a valid e-mail account we'll be able to contact you and you can tell us then - we're certainly not going to disqualify anyone for not filling out the form right at this point. No one from Guild Wars Guru should have contacted you in-game as of yet and we'll arrange a meeting via e-mail or PMs, whichever works for you, anyone claiming to be from Guru is just trying to scam you at this point so please don't be fooled until we contact you privately to work things out. The finalists should have all been contacted by now and if you don't recieve an e-mail from Guild Wars Guru soon, I'm sorry to say your entry hasn't made the cut.

I have to say I was impressed at all the entries, even those who haven't made it to this "final round". Most people got at least one screenshot right and, even though no one managed to correctly answer all the bonus questions many had a few right there as well. A lot of time and effort went into many of these entries and I hope you had as much fun trying to figure things out as we did going through the entries. Unfortunately, thanks to the number of responses we can't make you all winners so the experience will have to suffice. It looks like iQ is ammenable to another contest, though, and as soon as we figure out what it is, we'll set it up and anyone who's missed out this time can try again.

I got all of them, but the one with the snow was very difficult. I felt like I know what area it was in...but I didn't know exactly where that screenshot was taking. I went and took screenshots in exactly the other two places but I couldnt figure out that one. I think I knew where it was....just not sure

I thought the 1st and 3rd were very easy. The water and respawn gave them away. The 2nd one took me awhile though, since I had never been in that area before. But I finally got it after a few hours.

The third one i found easiest as the screenshot had the most clues, one there was a resserect portal, two there was a lake there and three there was a vine bridge. Narrowed it down a lot

Sorry my mistake third not second screenshot

The second one had a dead boss Azure Shadow on the side of the screen, so I looked in an Elite Skills Location website, and found the exact location of all hero Azure Shadows in the Southern Shiverpeaks, then just checked them all :P It doesnt hurt me now that the contest is over to show how I did it.

This just in: I won all 3 sigils! Sorry guys, better luck next time :-D

Yeah, there were some pretty defining characteristics in the first and third screenshots. How I decided on where to look for the second one was actually the ammount of snow coupled with the tint of the snow. I know that the Northern Shiverpeaks isn't completely snowy as it has patches and segments of dry land mixed in with the snow. The Southern Shiverpeaks beyond Camp Rankor seems to have a somewhat purple tint to it. So, since it was pure white and a lot of snow, I knew it was either Snake Dance, Dreadnaught's Drift, or Lornar's Pass. The green glow told me there was a necro or ranger boss that had just been killed. So I checked all locations of necro or ranger bosses in those three areas, and then started checking each location.

Luckily it was the first location that I looked :-D

It took some pounding on the table but we've hammer out our decision. The winners and runners-up should all have recieved an e-mail by now so if you were contacted as a finalist, please check your inbox. I'm working on an answer key and when that's up we'll publically announce the various winners. Give me a few hours or so, though, as a lot of people sent in screenshots with their entries and we'd like to include those. However, those screenshots are pretty big and I'm going to have to resize them beforehand. But the answer key should be up this afternoon or by this evening at the latest.

I won! And Im serious, I really won! Its awesome, my guild can finally get a guild hall. But I was thinking of not using it for a guild hall. I was thinking to just sell it. My guild believes that if we cant win the HoH then we shouldn't play Guild Battles. We have made it to the HoH countless times now, but our team always gets blinded with thoughts of killing the hero that we forget about the healers :P

I came fourth apparently

Shame there is no Sigil for fourth prize but nevermind. We cannot all be winners

My guild will just have to stay homeless, at least for the time being.

Was a fun competition, just a shame I could not come up with a screenshot for question 2 like i did with 1 and 3 but c'est la vie.
